Bridge to Work program

An employment program for work ready refugees, migrants and international students aged 18 years or older, who are unemployed or under employed.

The program coordinator provides tailored 1-on-1 support to address specific employment-related needs throughout the ‘employment journey’ from pre to post employment for each participant. Participants increase their knowledge of Australian workplace requirements, rights and obligations along with their capacity and confidence to commence and maintain meaningful employment.

Employers have developed increased confidence that employing members of the refugee community is a viable answer to their existing workforce shortages and challenges, and we are now seeing long term employees at some of the businesses.
